261 days of Grace!🕊️📿
261 days sober. 🕊️ 261 days without missing the Rosary. 📿 Not by my strength, but by God’s grace. Totus Tuus, Maria. 🕊️📿
Oh, the humanity!
“And he answered them, “O faithless generation, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you? Bring him to me.”” Mark 9:19 RSV-C https://bible.com/bible/2017/mrk.9.19.RSV-C This verse just reminds me of Jesus in his complete humanity. Whenever you are dealing with unruly people and you feel like ‘How much longer do I have to put up with this person?’ Remember sometimes we made Jesus feel exactly the same.
The Early Church Fathers
I’m still a beginner myself and learning about the Early Church Fathers, but if you’re also looking to go deeper into Catholicism or understand what early Christianity was actually like, I’d highly recommend studying the writings and teachings of the Early Church Fathers. It’s fascinating to see how the early Christians understood the faith, Scripture, the Eucharist, the Church, and so much more. Sharing a little introduction in case anyone else is curious!

No man can live as an island
The Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows ❤️🔥 commemorates the seven great sorrows which Mary lived in relation to Her Son, as they are recorded in the Gospels and through tradition. The Blessed Virigin Mary is portrayed in a sorrowful mood with seven daggers piercing her heart. The feast of our lady of sorrow invites us to reflect on the deep love and unwavering faith of Mary, the mother of God. This feast illuminates Mary's profound sorrow as she journeyed alongside with her son, experiencing the seven sorrows that pierced her heart. Through this reflection, we not only honor Mary's unique role in the story of salvation, but also find solace and inspiration and strength. Our lady of sorrow embodies the enduring love and faith that are essential elements of the Christian journey. She is a model for us, showing how to embrace suffering with grace and trust in God's ultimate plan for our salvation. In honoring her, we find encouragement to face our own sorrows with courage, faith, and love, knowing that we are always embraced by her compassion and care.
Prayer corner
I am currently creating my prayer corner in my home. I built a kneeled myself and have most of what I want/need. I am looking for ideas. Would love to see pictures of what others have done.
What would you do if you were a billionaire?
Here’s a fun thought experiment: if you were a billionaire, what would you do with the money? I often wonder, it’s easy to think that we’d be extremely generous and give a lot to charity. But would we really if we were in that position?
