Good afternoon all! I'm near the end of my masters journey and am considering a doctoral degree, but I have a few concerns and desires that are making this more difficult. Due to my work and family requirements, it would have to be an online program. I know that many in academia feel that doctorate degrees earned online aren't "worth the paper," but it's the only option I have. I have also heard or read that many of the online programs are from "diploma mills" that do not reflect well on a CV. Also, I would greatly enjoy a Catholic college. I've tried looking on the Cardinal Newman list but I cannot seem to find anything that fits what I need. Finally, I am looking to continue in my current field, Public Administration. Any advice on what schools to look at, or if this is even worth pursuing would be greatly appreciated. I have looked at Valdosta State and Old Dominion University so far as options.

I work in a plant science lab and started putting some Christian messaging on the board. My atheist friends retaliated with anti Christian memes. It’s all fun and games which have led to some nice discussions about Christianity in the office. How do people try to bring Christ into science?

Degree in Church Management. My background is really in theology & philosophy, so this will be a different and exciting new chapter of learning.

Ig: @klarisstole My hopes for this legion is to have a space where we can support eachother in our acadmic/professional pursuits and discuss how we can best embrace Catholicism in spaces that—if like mine— may be dominated by anti-christian leadership and practices.
